EU steel distributor activity remains negative in September
Eurometal, the European association for steel distributors and service centres (SSC), has confirmed that in September the activity of steel distributors remained negative.
According to the latest data release, during the first nine months of 2019 shipments from EU flat steel service centres dropped -3.4% year-on-year. Shipments from multi-products distributors were down -4.1%.
