EU service centres report October sales growth: Eurometal
European flat steel service centres (SSC) saw strip mill product shipments rise 3.3% on-year in October, slowing from 4.7% on-year growth in September, says EU distributors’ association Eurometal.
When expressed in days of shipments, stocks at EU SSC reached 57 days in October versus 71 days in October 2019.
January-October shipments nevertheless still fell -14% on-year, Kallanish notes.
