EU distributor first-quarter shipments drop
Steel service centre (SSC) and multi-product distributor activity in the first quarter confirmed the difficult start to business in 2019, according to the latest Eurometal data monitored by Kallanish.
SSC shipments dropped -4.5% year-on-year in Q1, while those from general distributors moved down -3.4% y-o-y.
