EU steel prices to remain pressured in 2020
Fitch Ratings expects European steel prices to remain under pressure next year, the credit analyst says in a note sent to Kallanish.
The agency notes that margins at producers are under severe pressure. This should continue in the first part of 2020 and ease slightly only in H2 2020 as capacity cuts and declining input costs have their effect on the market.
