EU states support EC plan for new tariffs
The European Commission has confirmed that member states who gathered last week to discuss the possible new tariffs against steel imports gave "…overwhelming support" to the commission's plan.
As reported by Kallanish, the new temporary measures are set to enter into force next week. They should include a 25% duty after a rate quota is surpassed. The quota is expected to be calculated on a global level and not on a country-base as requested …
