EU extends anti-dumping period for Chinese steel ropes
The European Commission (EC) has decided to continue to impose ant-dumping duties on imports into the EU of Chinese steel ropes and cables, Kallanish notes.
Anti-dumping duties of 60.4% have been in place since 1999 and this is the third expiry review, the EC says. This will extend measures at the same level for a further 5 years. The regulation is implemented as from 19 April 2018.
