EU distributors benefit from market recovery: Eurometal
European steel service centres and distributors benefitted from the overall recovery of the market in the continent during the first quarter of 2017, says Eurometal, the association for distributors, service centres and traders.
Flat service centres (SSC) posted a 2.5% y-o-y growth in shipments during Q1, Eurometal calculated. The sector was mainly boosted by a recovery in activity in Northwest Europe.
