EU distribution continues performing well in August
Shipments by European steel distributors continued to perform positively in August, according to the latest release by Eurometal.
Flat steel service centre shipments increased 0.5% year-on-year in August. The recovery slowed down somewhat from the 3.4% y-o-y rise in July, but the overall January-August figure showed a rise of 18.3% y-o-y.
