EU bans Belarus steel, allows existing contract delivery
The EU published on Wednesday its decision to sanction and ban individuals, companies and goods originating from Belarus.
As part of the decision, made in connection with the involvement of Belarus in Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, iron and steel products from Belarus will now be banned from being imported into Europe. The move was widely anticipated by sources since the end of last week, Kallanish notes.
