Essar Steel production surges 58% in September quarter
Essar Steel reported a 58% on-quarter increase in flat steel production in the September quarter (FQ2) to 1.34 million tonnes. Iron ore pellet production rose 89% to 2.43mt.
Within the flats output, production of pre-painted galvanized sheet soared 98% to 41,000t.
