Essar Steel June-quarter flats production surges 29%
Essar Steel reported a 29% on-year growth in flat steel production in the first fiscal quarter through June (FQ1) to 1.57 million tonnes. The firm was operating at 83% capacity utilisation, Kallanish learns from the Indian steelmaker.
