Essar Steel Algoma files for creditor protection
Canadian steelmaker Essar Steel Algoma has again filed for creditor protection with the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, Kallanish learns.
As part of its restructuring, the company has acquired US$200 million in debtor-in-possession financing.
