ESI reports strong earnings, ups Asia rebar sales
United Arab Emirates' largest construction material company, Emirates Steel Arkan (ESA), saw consolidated revenue surge in the first quarter to AED 2.04 billion ($555.5 million) against AED 233.5m in Q1 2021.
ESA recorded a net profit of AED 72.6m compared to AED 1.2m for the same period in 2021, attributed to enhanced operational performance and higher sales volumes and average prices.
