ESI foresees 5% Arab steel consumption growth in 2016
Emirates Steel (ESI) forecasts steel consumption in the Arab region to increase 5% on-year to 57.3 million tonnes in 2016. The firm foresees a “stabilisation” in the region’s construction sector, which will include the launch of various multi-billion dollar infrastructure projects, it tells Kallanish.
