ESI bucks downtrend with rebar hike, enthuses Turks
Emirates Steel (ESI) has increased its rebar price by AED 74/tonne ($20) from the previous month to AED 1,863/t ex-works ($507) for April deliveries. This has surprised many market participants as international scrap and billet prices have recorded significant declines in the last week.
