Esfahan Steel expands export volumes, markets
Esfahan Steel Company (Esco) increased exports 30% on-year in the nine months through 21 December 2019 to 877,000 tonnes, Kallanish learns from the firm. In the Iranian year through 19 March 2020 exports are expected to reach 1.2 million tonnes.
Iran’s third-largest steel producer has expanded its export markets from 19 last year to 23 this year. These are mainly countries in the Arabian Peninsula, Africa, Europe and the CIS.
