Esfahan Steel begins blast furnace restart
Esfahan Steel (Esco) has begun the process of restarting its idle blast furnace no.1, but the firm still faces issues with sourcing iron ore feedstock to ramp up production, a company official tells Kallanish. The move is seen helping crude steel output increase by 800,000 tonnes/year.
