Esfahan Steel appoints new chief
Iran’s sole blast furnace-based steelmaker, Esfahan Steel (Esco), has appointed Ahmad Sadeghi as managing director to replace Sa’ad Mohammadi, Kallanish learns from the firm. Sadeghi formerly held the same position at Esco, and was also Iranian assistant secretary of state for non-ferrous metals and deputy chief executive of Mobarakeh Steel.
