Erdemir reduces output, profitability down in January-September
Turkey's Erdemir Group reduced output of crude steel in the first nine months of 2022 by 11.8% on-year to 6 million tonnes, working at 84% capacity utilisation, down from 95% last year, Kallanish notes.
The firm's Iskenderun plant output fell by 13.2% to 3.69mt and Eregli plant's output declined by 9.5% to 2.32mt.
