Erdemir expresses interest in Ilva's privatisation
Turkish integrated flat steelmaker Erdemir says it has submitted expression of interest in the privatisation process of troubled Italian steelmaker Ilva.
Erdemir has filed the proposal “… in order to gain more insight on the Italian steel maker,” it says in a bourse filing seen by Kallanish. The company does not disclose any further details in the statement.
