Erdemir denies making binding bid for Ilva
Erdemir has not submitted a binding offer for the acquisition of Italian steelmaker Ilva, the Turkish integrated steelmaker says, rejecting recent media reports.
“Our analysis about Italian steelmaker Ilva S.p.A.'s privatization process is still in progress …,” Erdemir explains in a bourse filing seen by Kallanish.
