Eramet signs manganese supply agreement with Baowu
Eramet has signed a framework agreement with Chinese steel producer Baowu for the sale of manganese ore in 2021 to its trading arm, Baosteel Resources, Kallanish learns from the French miner. The manganese ore will be sold from Eramet’s Comilog subsidiary in Gabon.
This agreement brings the contractual commitment of Eramet’s five largest Chinese customers to around 1.5 million tonnes in 2021.
