Eramet predicts improved H2 on costlier nickel
French mining company Eramet sees an improved second half of 2016 thanks to rising nickel prices.
Global nickel production was down slightly on-year over the first nine months of 2016. This was linked to the closure of certain plants, reduction in nickel pig iron production in China following a lengthy period of low prices, and cutbacks in production at some long-standing industry players.
