Eramet cuts manganese production, sees some price recovery
The global market for manganese saw a minor recovery towards the end of the first quarter of 2016 says major French manganese supplier Eramet. This was after prices had fallen to the lowest level for 20 years in January, the miner says in its latest operating report monitored by Kallanish.
