Emirates Steel slashes rebar steeply
Abu Dhabi-based Emirates Steel (ESI) has decreased its rebar price by AED 527/tonne ($143) from June-July to AED 1,750/t ($476) ex-works for August and September deliveries. The move reflects the retreat of prices on the international market since ESI’s last price announcement at the end of April.
