Emirates Steel hikes rebar, gives Turkish exporters chance
Abu Dhabi-based Emirates Steel has increased its rebar price by AED 99/tonne ($27) from the previous month to AED 1,789/t ex-works ($487) for March deliveries.
The move was made due to the approximately $40/t increase each in scrap prices and Turkish-origin rebar offers since ESI’s previous price announcement on 7 February, market participants tell Kallanish.
