Emirates Steel foresees Arab demand rebound in 2020
Emirates Steel (ESI) expects steel demand in the Arab world to start recovering next year after a difficult 2019, according to its chief executive, Saeed al-Remeithi. Regional demand should rise 1.2% on-year in 2020 to 50 million tonnes, following an expected -2.6% drop in 2019 amid a construction sector slowdown.
