El Hadjar eyes doubling output after BF restart
Integrated steelmaker El Hadjar, located near Annaba, restarted at the beginning of January crude steel production, following the relaunch of its blast furnace.
Production was stopped due to a lack of coke feedstock earlier in 2023, which significantly impacted production of finished steel products at the site, Kallanish notes.
