Egyptian mills hike rebar prices
Due to local currency depreciation against foreign currencies, major Egyptian mills have raised their domestic rebar prices, Kallanish notes.
The price increment was led by Ezz Steel, which set its new, 14% VAT included, ex-works domestic rebar price at EGP 29,285/tonne ($836).
