Egypt launches rebar, rod AD investigation
Egypt has launched an anti-dumping investigation into imports of rebar and wire rod from China, Turkey and Ukraine, market participants tell Kallanish.
The probe follows a petition from Ezz Steel and Solb Misr, which was supported by other domestic steelmakers, according to an Egyptian metallurgy chamber official. It covers all products falling under HS code headings 7213 and 7214. A preliminary determination is expected by the end of June.
