Egyptian steel consumption returns to 2009 peak
Egyptian finished steel consumption is set to reach 10.1 million tonnes in 2015, a return to the peak level achieved in 2009, according to Ezz Steel marketing director George Matta. It is then forecast to grow at an annual average of 8.2% to 15.6mt in 2020.
