Egypt, Iran grow exports, buck MENA 2020 trend
During the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020, most Middle East and North Africa countries saw a decline in steel exports and imports. However, Iran, and Egypt reported significant on-year increases in steel exports. Their imports nevertheless slumped, according to the newly-published worldsteel Statistical Yearbook 2021 monitored by Kallanish.
