ECJ’s Taranto verdict ignores recent developments: ADI
The EU Court of Justice (ECJ) ruling on Acciaieire d’Italia (ADI)’s emissions refers to events that occurred in 2013 and does not take into account the environmental investments made since, the Italian steelmaker says.
The facts are “today largely overtaken by the significant investments made in environmental rehabilitation, particularly the coverage of the mining parks, a unique infrastructure in Europe,” it notes.
