EC seeks mandate on US industrial trade agreement
The European Commissioni s reported to be working on obtaining a mandate from the member states to negotiate a possible free trade agreement with the US. This would cover the trade of industrial goods, Kallanish learns from sources.
The information was communicated as, European trade commissioner Cecilia Malmstroem once again met with her US counterpart earlier this week.
