Eastern Chinese steelmakers halt production for maintenance

Major eastern Chinese steelmakers Ningbo Iron & Steel (Ninggang) and Jiangsu Shagang are reported to have halted part of their steel output due to maintenance. So far, hot rolled flat product output in September is expected to be most affected, Kallanish notes.
