Duties protect Ezz from price fall, pound appreciation
Ezz will be protected, if Egypt imposes definitive rebar anti-dumping duties, from a fall in global steel prices in tandem with the pound appreciation versus the dollar, according to Egyptian investment bank Prime Holding. Local rebar is seen selling at a premium of 10% above average Turkish fob prices throughout the forecast period to 2019.
