Dongkuk Steel produces new section steel in Pohang
South Korean steelmaker Dongkuk Steel launched new section steel grades at its Pohang plant last week.
The new C-channel size is C380*100, with first shipments sold this June, Kallanish notes. Dongkuk Steel now offers all sizes from C75*40 to C380*100, meeting the requirements of Japanese Industrial Standards (JIS), which will contribute to improving sales competitiveness and profitability, the steel mill said.
