Dongkuk delays Brazilian steelworks start-up
South Korea’s Dongkuk says the first firing of the blast furnace at its CSP steelworks joint venture in Brazil will take place in the second quarter of 2016, not this December as originally planned. The news likely means continued slab buying from Japan for the next few months, Kallanish notes.
