Dongfang Special upgrades bar mill
Changzhou Donfang Special Steel in eastern China’s Jiangsu province has completed the upgrade of a bar mill, Kallanish learns from engineer Danieli. The upgrade replaced the full set of cartridge rolling stands.
The upgrade allows the mill to produce bars that meet China’s GB/T 702-2017 grade 2 standard, Danieli says. It also ensures higher efficiency due to fewer stoppages.
