Dongbei Special Steel begins bankruptcy reorganisation
On 10 October, state-owned Dongbei Special Steel Group officially entered into a bankruptcy reorganisation process, according to an announcement by a subsidiary to the Shanghai Stock Exchange. The group has around CNY 44.3 billion ($6.595 billion) in financial debt, and creditors will have nine months to hand in their reorganisation plan for court assessment, Kallanish notes.
