Domestic growth drives Borusan's H1 sales increase
Borusan Mannesman Boru's (BMB) first-half-of-2016 consolidated prime-quality product sales increased 11% year-on-year to 384,000 tonnes. This was mainly on the back of faster growth in sales at home, Kallanish notes from the pipemaker's interim activity report.
Domestic sales went up 28% y-o-y to 160,000t in H1. Exports climbed 1.8% to 224,000t, accounting for 58% of the company’s total prime-quality product sales, BMB says in the report.…
