Dodge Momentum Index posts gains in August
The US Dodge Data & Analytics Momentum Index for construction moved 1.8% higher to 126.5 in August from July's revised reading of 124.2, Kallanish reports. This is the second consecutive month of gains for the index in 2020.
The commercial building sector of the index saw a gain of 3.3% in the month of August, increasing to 153.3 on the index. Meanwhile, the institutional building sector saw a loss of -1.2% for the month, falling to 93.3 for August.
