Dodge Momentum Index posts first gains in 2020
The US Dodge Data & Analytics Momentum Index for construction moved 3.4% higher to 124.7 in July from June's revised reading of 120.5, Kallanish reports. This marks the first monthly increase for the index in 2020.
The commercial building sector of the index saw a gain of 5.3% in the month of July, increasing to 140.5 on the index. Meanwhile, the institutional building sector saw no change in July, remaining at 95.8 on the index for the month.
