DMZ’s steel production rebounds, coke output falls slightly
Ukraine's Dneprovskiy Steel Mill (DMZ), part of DCH Group, increased rolled steel production in April, but coke output was down, the company says.
Production of rolled products surged 87.2% on-year and was 74% more on-month at 10,800 tonnes, Kallanish notes.
In March, the plant produced 41.3% less on-year at 6,200t (see Kallanish passim). In January it did not produce steel products amid repairs, but shipped 3,700t of rolled steel to customers.
