DMZ’s steel production falls, pig iron increases
Ukraine's Dneprovskiy Steel Mill (DMZ, formerly Petrovka), part of DCH Group, produced in April 28,500 tonnes of crude steel, down by 2.8% compared to March, Kallanish notes.
However, pig iron output increased by 0.8% to 25,980t. Production of rolled products rose 12.2% to 24,900t.
In January-April, DMZ produced 80,400t of crude steel, 97,400t of pig iron and 71,800t of rolled products.
