DMZ’s steel, pig iron production increases in May
Ukraine's Dneprovskiy Steel Mill (DMZ, formerly Petrovka), part of DCH Group, produced in May 29,300 tonnes of crude steel, up by 2.8% compared to April, Kallanish notes.
Pig iron output increased by 2.3% to 26,600t. However, production of rolled products was less by 3.3% to 24,100t.
In January-May, DMZ produced 109,700t of crude steel, 124,000t of pig iron and 95,900t of rolled products.
