DMZ’s September steel production rebounds, coke output falls
Ukraine's Dneprovskiy Steel Mill (DMZ), part of DCH Group, increased steel production in September compared to the previous month.
Last month, DMZ produced 8,500 tonnes of rolled steel, up by 91.6% compared with August and 97.4% more on-year, Kallanish notes.
In January-September, the plant produced 82,600t of finished steel, which is 82.4% more compared to the same period in 2022, which was impacted by downtime amid the outbreak of war.
