DMZ’s 2021 steel, pig iron production increase significantly
Ukraine's Dneprovskiy Steel Mill (DMZ, formerly Petrovka), part of DCH Group, produced 27,800 tonnes of crude steel in December, down by 7.5% on-year, Kallanish notes.
Pig iron output in December decreased by 9.1% on-year to 24,200t. However, production of rolled products was up by 0.9% to 23,400t and coke output was more by 6.3% to 43,600t.
