DMZ reduces steel production, coke output surges
Ukraine's Dneprovskiy Steel Mill (DMZ), part of DCH Group, decreased rolled steel production in March, but coke output surged, the company says.
Production of rolled products fell by 41.3% on-year but was 18% more on-month at 6,200 tonnes, Kallanish notes.
In February, the plant produced 45.7% less on-year at 5,300t (see Kallanish passim). In January it did not produce steel products amid repairs, but shipped 3,700t of rolled steel to customers.
