DMZ significantly reduces steel, coke output amid overhauls
Ukraine's Dneprovskiy Steel Mill (DMZ), part of DCH Group, decreased steel production in August compared to the previous month.
Last month, DMZ produced 4,400 tonnes of rolled steel, less by 67.4% compared with July and 64.7% less on-year, Kallanish notes.
In January-August, the plant produced 74,100t of finished steel, which is 80% more compared to the same period in 2022, which was impacted by downtime amid the outbreak of war.
